It’s all new to me…

Welcome to the new website!!

We are so grateful to Jenn Arman who has put many many MANY hours of work into helping our church get out of the dark ages and creating this website. If there is something we are missing please let us know.

Blog, Blog, Blog . . . . it’s all new to me but I want to say in the now! So from now on I will be Blogging on a periodic basis to keep you in the know on what’s happening here at newlife community church and what the Lord is speaking to me!!!

On a Wednesday night recently the Lord was speaking to me about a “shaking” that is coming to California; A physical shaking and a spiritual shaking. He said don’t be afraid and do not look to the ways of man, make sure your foundation is based on me and my word and I will take care of you.

Matthew 7: 24-27 says:

24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

It is wonderful that we have a God who not only tells us how to live, but he will also take care of us through tough storms.

God Bless

NewLife Family,

As we look at our country and all the issues we face today, we must ask how did we get here, how do we get out, and how do we safeguard not returning to this place again.  A look at Israel’s history will help.  Over the next couple of months we are going to examine Israel’s falling away, rebuilding, and restoration.  Join us as we study Ezra and Nehemiah together.

You can start by reading these two books as one letter and see how God has always had a people willing and ready to build and restore God’s purposes for mankind.  This narrative shows us God’s fulfilled promises through what was spoken by the prophets, the rebuilt temple, the restored patterns of worship, and the restoration of God’s community, people in the midst of a heathen idolatrous culture.

Lets rebuild our lives, our communities, and our country together.  God promises to be with us.

Love in Christ,

Pastor Craig
