Our Partnership Class will paint the picture of who we are as a church body and expresses our vision.  All you have to do is just take this class and ask God if this is where he wants you.  If you are in agreement with our vision and calling as a church body then today you can join our family.  All you will need to do is fill out the simple New Life Partnership Application which is found in the back of this booklet and mark the box that says, “Yes, I agree with the vision and standards of New Life and want be a Part of what God is doing here by joining your church family.”  In doing so, you will have an understanding of why we operate the way we do and will be a participant of our church family.  However, our Partnership class gives you the opportunity to go one step further.

In this Partnership Class, you will also have the opportunity to Partner with New Life.   In doing so, you will be expressing your agreement with the vision and all the standards that will be unveiled within this class, while openly allowing yourself to be held accountable to upholding them.  Being a Partner will get you on the path to serve here at the church.  This means that we will team up and move towards the unifying vision together!   If you are desiring to Partner with us, please check the box on the new life application that says, “Yes, I would not only like to be a Part of the New Life family, but I would also like to Partner with New Life and help serve the calling that God has placed on this church.  In doing so, I am agreeing to be accountable to uphold all the beliefs and values that have been disclosed in this class.”

Do you have a strong voice and a desire to pray for the needs of others? As an intercessor, you will be praying into a mic as the worship team plays behind you. On average, you will pray for 2 – 5 minutes and will be given, in advance, a specific theme and scripture to pray over. (Training available).

Requirement: Level 2 (actively pursuing level 3)

Time Commitment: Rotating schedule; average once a month

Vocalist

For the Prayer Room style of worship, we are building chorus groups and need many vocalists. If you can sing on key and have a heart for worship, please audition for one of our teams. The ability to harmonize is a plus. Chorus leaders will be chosen from our groups to facilitate the cycling process.

Requirement: Level 2 (actively pursuing level 3); simple audition

Time Commitment: Rotating schedule; average once a month

Greeters

We need warm and friendly people to open the door for those coming into the sanctuary and who can be actively aware of their surroundings during service. You can still engage God, but you will be monitoring the room for distractions. If any arise, you would simply hand the person a card as a friendly reminder to please be considerate of others who are worshiping. Training will be provided.

Requirement: Level 2

Time Commitment: Once of twice a month

Instrumentalist

If you play an instrument, having a contemporary music style, and would like to serve, then one of our prayer room teams may be a good fit for you. We are always looking for drummers, keyboardists, guitar/bass players, and percussionists.

Requirement: Level 2 (actively pursuing level 3); simple audition

Time Commitment: rotating schedule; average once a month

Technical Crew/Sound Booth

This position is responsible for providing a cohesive atmosphere for unified worship by ministering to us with the sound, lighting, camera, and media. This is a critical role in our services. Training will be provided.
