Day Two of our 15 Days of Prayer devotionals comes from Senior Pastor Craig Lawrence.⠀
⠀
“John 15:5: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”⠀
⠀
Jesus told us abide in Me & I will abide in you.⠀

The Greek word for abide is ‘meno’ which literally means “to be with or to wait upon”. In this season I challenge you to live with the peace of Jesus and to stay connected. This is the greatest opportunity for the body of Christ to abide in the Vine and to receive straight from the Father.⠀
⠀
Today I want to encourage you to spend time with Him in the midst of all that is happening. We are meant to be the salt, the light and the peace. My prayer is that we would be a people who shine the light of Jesus in the midst of darkness. So that when people say “How can you be calm?” Our answer would be “Because I’ve been hanging out with Jesus and He is peace.”⠀
⠀
As we walk through this season I pray the love and joy of Jesus will rest upon each of us. And that His comfort, as we abide in Him, will come and change us forever.
