Church we’re in a kairos moment. There’s an invitation to pause, draw near to God and wait on Him right now. Join us every day as we refuse fear, pray for the earth and take time not to be busy – but to be still and wait on the Lord.
Today’s devotional comes from Pastor Zamar Alkiezar who, with his wife Anna, Pastors our Outreach Ministry.

“Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:4-5‬ ‭NKJV‬

Jesus has given power to his disciples (us) and commanded for us to do as He did. The word says that we have been empowered for a time like this. When John the Baptist’s disciples asked Jesus if He was the Messiah, His answer was “what do you see and hear?”

Today, right now, He is in us. What do the people around us see and hear from us? We don’t have to walk through this season in our own strength, He has empowered us with all we need if we lean into the Spirit. It takes a choice though. In every moment, choice by choice, will we see fear, impossibility and despair? Or will we look to Jesus and see peace, power and breakthrough? If we partner with Him He will empower us just like Jesus empowered His disciples, to be the light the world needs.

So I want to encourage you, be strong and very courageous (Joshua 1:9) and walk as the Lord has commanded you to do today!
